Ireland’s only Social Media Directory of Wedding Suppliers
Today we have launched Ireland’s first Social Media Directory of Wedding Suppliers.
It’s a great resource for Brides and Grooms to see which suppliers are using social media to promote their business. Many wedding suppliers regularly run competitions and offer discounts for Facebook fans or Twitter followers. This is a great way to find relevant wedding suppliers to keep an eye on!
It’s free for suppliers to get listed and they don’t need to be existing mrs2be advertisers.

Announcing Ireland’s First Wedding Website App
mrs2be.ie are proud to announce their new app for the iPhone
Released today, 11th May 2010, mrs2be / Online Bridal Directory Limited have become the first known Irish wedding website to release a self-branded app for the popular iPhone.

The mrs2be.ie Weddings App can be downloaded FREE from iTunes here or by visiting the App Store on your iPhone and searching for “mrs2be”.
The app contains the following features:
* Latest articles from the mrs2be.ie website
* Latest blog posts and wedding news from the mrs2be.ie blog
* Featured topics from our popular wedding discussion forum
The app also contains non-obtrusive advertising space that can be utilised by advertisers who wish to target a large engaged to be married female audience.
The next version of the mrs2be.ie Weddings App is already in development. Among the new features will be a Supplier Directory which will contain the listings of all current advertisers with mrs2be.ie.

Fresh New Look for mrs2be
Last week, we unveiled a fresh new look for mrs2be.
We’ve listened to suggestions from both brides and suppliers and put together a fresh new look for the entire site. We believe the new mrs2be is more functional and easier to navigate.
But that’s not all! We’ll still be working away in the background by developing some cool new wedding-related features. For now, we have to keep our lips sealed but more details will be revealed at a later date.
We hope you like our new look.

mrs2be.ie is 1 year old!
mrs2be.ie went live this weekend last year. What a year it has been!
We knew from the start that we had created something special. Our entire ethos of having friendly moderated wedding forums must have set us apart because we didn’t think we would officially become Ireland’s second busiest wedding site in less than one year!
The site continues to grow with hundreds of new Missies registering each month. This is all thanks to you, our dedicated Missies, who have been logging on daily to contribute to the various wedding related and occasional non-wedding related conversations.
We had great fun with the competitions, firstly the “Post to Win Free Garters, Ring Cushions and Photo Albums” and then later with the “Post Like Crazy” competition. Our servers nearly died from the craziness! 
We’re still working very hard to help improve the mrs2be experience and we hope you’ll continue to use the site long after you tie the knot!

Thanks also has to go to our registered suppliers (all listed in our wedding supplier directory) without whom this site wouldn’t be viable.
